Vision
To be a vibrant cultural cornerstone that preserves, promotes, and celebrates Oromo heritage through the annual Irreechaa festival in Minnesota fostering Oromo unity, Oromo identity, and intergenerational connections within the diaspora and beyond.
Mission
Oromo Irreecha Minnesota exists to organize and host culturally authentic Irreecha celebrations, (Irreecha Malka) Lake Irreecha and (Irreecha Tulluu) Mountain Irreecha that honor Oromo traditions, spiritual heritage, and communal values. Through inclusive events, educational initiatives, and community partnerships, we aim to strengthen cultural pride, promote unity among Oromos and friends, and pass down the wisdom of our ancestors to future generations.
Goals
- Cultural Preservation
Celebrate Irreecha annually with traditional rituals, music, dance, and storytelling to preserve Oromo heritage.

Strengthen ties within the Oromo community in Minnesota through inclusive planning and participation.
