Mountain Irreechaa May 31, 2025
The Oromo community of Minnesota celebrated Irreecha Arfaasaa/ Mountain at East phillips Park Minneapolis, Minnesota, We are sharing with you the videos and pictures of the East African Oromo people, their cultural clothes, food, and music. We pride and share the beauty of our culture and the Irreechaa thanksgiving celebration to the world through videos, pictures, food and cultural clothing that highlight relevant cultural aspects. Everyone interested in culture is always welcomed to join our thanksgiving and enjoy our cultural food, coffee and music.

The Oromo Irreechaa Festival board called a meeting to discuss about upcoming Irreechaas. The Oromo community of Minnesota agreed about the upcoming dates and times for the Mountain and Lake Irreechaa with the Irreechaa board members . The mountain irreecha will be celebrated on May, 31 2025 at East Phillips Park and the Lake Irreechaa on September 20th of 2025 at Powderhorn Park Minneapolis. The Oromo Irreechaa Festival board called on the Oromo people and friends to come to celebrate on both the Mountain and Lake Irreechaa on the dates above.

The Minnesota Oromo Irreechaa organizing committee changed the Irreechaa venue from Lake Nokomis after twenty years. Starting this year 2025 the irreechaa will be celebreted at Powderhorn park in Minneapolis.
